This Pet Store In China Built A Dog-Only Pool To Help Dogs Cool Down During Summer Heat Waves

Under recent summer heat waves, a pet store in Changsha Province, China, has opened a pool for dogs to help keep them cool for the summer.

Besides swimming in the pool, dogs can also enjoy other cooling services, including air-conditioned rooms, ice mats and summer snacks such as pet ice cream and even spa treatments.

Waterproof suits are also available for humans if they wish to keep their furry friends company in the doggy pool.

While the cooling services can cost up to 20,000 yuan (around US$2,720) for a summer, pet owners are happy to bring out their wallets as scorching summer heat can potentially cause health problems for dogs, particularly those with long and heavy hair.
