Leaked Footage Has Shown Israeli Forces Targeted And Killed Another Man Trying To Get Aid In Gaza

New leaked footage has shown Israeli forces targeting and killing a Palestinian man trying to get aid in north Gaza.

The video that was obtained by Al Jazeera and widely circulated on social media shows Israeli forces opening fire at civilians collecting airdropped aid in northern Gaza on March 9 even though none of them posed a threat to the military.

One man trying to flee the shooting is then singled out, targeted and killed while carrying an aid package.

His body was then left behind for dogs to discover, as seen in the video.

This is the latest incident of Israel’s targeting civilians trying to get aid as well as aid workers in Gaza, which is on the brink of famine.

Israel has killed more than 400 Palestinians getting aid since the Flour Massacre on February 29.

Meanwhile, according to the United Nations, at least 196 humanitarian workers have been killed in Gaza since Oct. 7.

Most recently, on April 1, Israel targeted and bombed a convoy of international aid workers delivering food into Gaza, killing all seven aid workers from World Central Kitchen.

Directly targeting civilians or humanitarian workers is a crime under International Humanitarian Law, also known as the rules of war.

Israel’s ongoing attacks on Gaza since Oct. 7 have killed more than 33,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.
